#123 Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib on D-Day
Typhoon Ib on ground attack over France 1944. Just a quick build of the nice little Airfix 1:72 kit while other projects drag along on the bench!
Notes
The Hawker Typhoon was originally intended as a replacement for the Hawker Hurricane (which didn’t really pan out), but it later became one of the Second World War’s most successful ground-attack aircraft.
Kit
The Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib (A02041W) included in D-Day Duo Airfix Club Limited Edition Airfix No. A73016 1:72 is I believe a repackaging of the Airfix kit A02041 kit.
