just did a press-fit test of the Yanmar YH6115 rice harvester. Hasegawa kit, amazing bandai-level of fit, now it is stripped down again and in the paint booth

Amazing kit quality - this is a basic snap-fit of most parts to check for fit and alignment. Now time to take it apart again and rebuild properly

Starting a base…

The tedious process of planting my field begins..

I decided the scene needed some life - so I sculpted a disturbed Japanese crane

Something different … this is the Hasegawa 1:35 kit of the YH6115 harvester. Kit quality is amazing - it can almost be built without glue. I threw this together as a diversion/refresher between other projects… and then spent a few weeks “planting rice”🤣

I have now spent far too much time watching this beautiful machine in action on YouTube and NHK!
